GDX Co.,  Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) provides consulting for domestic and international e-commerce, commissioned system development and maintenance services, advertising agency business, and financial advisory services for B2B transactions. To ensure the proper handling of all personal information used in the course of our business, the Company has established this Privacy Policy as a code of conduct for all employees and will ensure its thorough implementation.

The Company complies with all laws, national guidelines, and other regulations regarding the handling of personal information. To this end, we have established and operate a Personal Information Protection Management System in accordance with the Japanese Industrial Standard JIS Q 15001.

We acquire, use, and provide personal information appropriately, considering the nature and scale of our business. This includes taking measures to ensure that personal information is not handled beyond the scope necessary to achieve specified purposes.

When outsourcing the handling of personal information, we exercise necessary and appropriate supervision of contractors to ensure proper security management.

We will not provide personal information to third parties without the individual’s consent, unless required by law.

We take measures to prevent and correct leakage, loss, or damage of personal information.

We strive to respond promptly and appropriately to complaints and inquiries regarding the handling of personal information. We also accept requests for disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, erasure, or suspension of provision to third parties (hereinafter referred to as “Disclosure, etc.”) regarding retained personal data. 1. Purpose of Use of Retained Personal Information

The purposes of use for retained personal information at our company are as follows: 

①Personal information of individuals making inquiries
Used to respond to inquiries and communications received by the Company.

②Customer personal information

③Applicant information: used for recruitment activities such as document screening, interviews, 
evaluation, and communication.

④Employee information: used for appropriate employment management.
 

2. Use of Personal Information Obtained Indirectly or by Non-Written Means

The purposes are as follows:


①Used only within the scope of the contracted services with the client (e.g., newsletter distribution, customer support).

3. Provision of Personal Information

Personal information provided to us will not be disclosed to third parties without the individual’s consent,
 except in the following cases:

①When prior notice has been given and consent has been obtained from the individual.
 
②When required by law. 
③When necessary to protect the life, body, or property of the individual or the public.
 
④When particularly necessary for public health or the sound upbringing of children, and obtaining consent is difficult.
 
⑤When cooperating with government agencies or local authorities in carrying out legally mandated duties, where obtaining consent may hinder the execution of such duties.
 
⑥In the case of a business succession due to merger or other reasons, provided the personal information is handled within the scope of the original purpose of use. 
 

4. Handling of Retained Personal Information

Requests for notification of purpose of use, disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, erasure, or suspension of provision to third parties (hereinafter referred to as “Disclosure, etc.”) regarding retained personal information may be submitted to the contact point below. We will respond without delay.

Note: Personal information obtained through contracted services is not subject to disclosure.

Except as provided by law or with the individual’s consent, we will not provide personal information to third parties.
